Photographing the Perseids Meteor Shower in the SF Bay Area

I photographed the milky way and Perseids Meteor Shower at about 2500 feet above sea level nested in the Santa Cruz Mountains above the commonly occurring Bay Area coastal summertime fog. I also captured a beautiful sunset before the clouds gave way to the stars above.

Summertime at Donner Lake

I visited Donner Lake with my parents in the summertime and enjoyed the calm, peaceful views. I capture some beautiful cloud formations as I learn to be patient to wait for the best light and share thoughts about how I composed my photos.

Fog at Mt Tamalpais

My family visited Mt Tamalpais for sunrise and sunset on a foggy summer weekend in July. While the fog often makes San Francisco feel gloomy, being above the fog evokes a dreamier feeling which I try to convey through my photos.

A Colorful Coastal Sunset

On a weekend back in June, the clouds were turning out to be pretty good; however, I was not able to make it to a location to catch the sunset. Luckily, the next day, the clouds were looking just as good as the previous day. So, I headed to the coast to capture some beautiful sunset colors on the California coast.

I am from California; and therefore, a lot of my photography centers around the San Francisco Bay Area and its surrounding landscapes.
